Paramount commissioned ongoing comic strips based on Star Trek from 1969to 1973, published in Britain by City Magazines in the titles Joe 90:Top Secret, TV21 and Joe 90, Valiant and TV21, and TV Comic. The artworkon these British strips was provided by such talents as Frank Bellamy,Harry F. Lindfield, Mike Noble, John Stokes, Roland Turner, Jim Baikie,John Canning, H. Jones, Carlos Pino, and Alan Willow. Writers for mostof the strips remain unknown. In January 1965, Alan Fennell, in cooperation with British sci-fipuppeteer Gerry Anderson, began publishing a weekly newspaper for CityMagazines entitled TV21, with strips based on such Anderson projects asStingray, Supercar, Fireball XL5, Captain Scarlet and Thunderbirds.Immensely popular in Britain, the magazine lasted 242 issues untilFebruary 15, 1969, when declining sales brought about numerous changes.The first was the magazine's title, which became Joe 90: Top Secret,while another was the contents. Gone were many of the original series,with non-Anderson stories such as Star Trek and Land of the Giants addedto the lot.

The Paulistano Ferrari Luiz Geraldo Martins, known as Luiz Gê, graduated in architecture at the University of São Paulo in 1977. He founded the magazine Balloon (1972-75), was editor of art magazine Status (1985-86) and editor of the Circus (1986-87). He worked at Folha de S. Paulo, 1976 to 84 as chargista editorial.Won the House of Las Americas Prize in the II International Biennial of Humor in Cuba, 1981. In 1987 he was doing postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Art in London. Won the Award for Best Graphic Designer and Production 1991, the HQMIX. Also collaborated with the country's major publications such as The State of São Paulo, Afternoon Journal, Brazil Journal, Republic Journal, Pasquim, Motion, View, Vision, That is, cards, among many others. Has published and exhibited in Germany, France, Portugal, USA, Italy and England. He worked also for the LPs Clara Crocodile and Shark Flyers of Arrigo Barnabé, and was one of the movie script Oculta City of Chico Botelho. Published the following books: glum and moody, Editora T. A. Queiroz Some of the Brazillian comics are Japanese too,because a lot of Brazillians are descendants of Japanese people,they read Dragon Ball,Knights of The Zodiac and other different comics. Other comics of Brazil are international,that every county reads. The most famous comic in Brazil is The Class of Monica
